Some of the best guitars to cross our path are pre-war Martin guitars. This is no exception to that trend. Here we observe an absolutely stunning instrument that is rich in character and sonic capabilities. Single 0 models like this one are a quarter of an inch deeper than double or triple 0's which register a shocking depth and volume for such a small instrument. Only to make it even more rare and impressive, the shadetop finish is stunning with very little signs of wear. While this guitar has sustained some repairs over the years it plays very well and has impressive clarity and articulation. Repairs on this example include one repaired back crack on lower back of the treble side, replaced tuners, a repaired bridge crack, reglued bridge, replaced bridge plate, neck set, bar fret refret, replaced nut and saddle. All of these repairs or replacements work together to give the player an experience that is second to none. This instrument will surely move to the front of any 0-18 lineup and could easily rival larger bodied guitars.
