The 1987 Silver Jubilee was a special edition amp, created to commemorate Marshall's 25th year of building amplifiers (and 50 years since the Marshall family first entered the music business). This is a 2555X model, which is a reissue from 2015. The Silver Jubilee occupies a unique place in Marshall's history, combining the best qualities of both vintage and modern designs while embracing the higher-gain sounds that defined the late '80s. This amp is in great condition, showing only minor signs of previous wear. There is some light blue marker writing reading "2555X" on the left side of the head, and the Lead Master control turns a bit tightly, though it functions perfectly.
The matching cabinet is housed in a heavy-duty live-in road case with rear access to the speaker jacks for added convenience. The head also includes its own road case, making this a fantastic setup for traveling musicians or anyone looking for a road-ready Silver Jubilee rig.
