This amp is from the personal collection of Mark Tremonti—the Grammy-winning guitarist behind Creed, Alter Bridge, and his solo project, Tremonti.
Jim Kelley holds a legendary status among amp builders, and is often referred to as "the other Dumble". It's fair to say that Jim is a sincere innovator, and his amps are unlike anything else out there.
In essence one might think of this amp as landing somewhere between a Fender and Marshall, tone-wise. One might think of it like a Fender with more midrange, or a Marshall with more bass control and tonal versatility. Either way, it really does it's own thing and needs to be heard to be understood. Players like Mark Knopfler, Robben Ford, and now Mark Tremonti have all owned one, just to name a few. He only built a small number of amps over a few years, so they are rare to come by!
This amp is in good condition for it's age, and shows light signs of previous wear. There are some visible scrapes on the headshell, which is typical for natural finish amps.
While there is a 4-pin jack to utilize a JK attenuator, this amp does not include one.
