More rare than an Explorer, this is one of twelve 3/4 sized Gibson Les Paul Specials produced in 1959. With the simplicity of the design, it makes a good companion. The scale length is 2 inches shorter than standard, which is taken within the length of the neck and body. Its size is favorable to those not wanting/able to wield the full size guitar, but it has survived in remarkable condition, so perhaps it was never a kid's first guitar like Gibson intended? It comes in its original chipboard alligator case with only having one reflector knob replaced.
