This Les Paul Deluxe has been heavily modified over the years, but it remains an excellent-playing Les Paul with a truly unique look and feel. While the original mini humbuckers are still intact, the neck has undergone significant reshaping.
The binding has been removed and the neck slimmed down for a narrower overall feel, though the binding at the very end of the fingerboard remains. It has also been re-radiused to a 7.25" radius. Despite these changes, the guitar plays exceptionally well, feeling somewhat reminiscent of a Les Paul Studio-style neck, though with a bit more depth and substance in hand.
Tonally, the original mini humbuckers deliver that distinctive Deluxe character—clear, punchy, and articulate—with a slightly leaner, more single-coil-like edge compared to full-sized humbuckers.
All in all, this is a one-of-a-kind Les Paul that’s undeniably cool, highly playable, and full of great tone. Includes a hardshell case (HSC).
