J45s are a songwriters best friend. It's one of the most suggested "if you can only have one guitar" models. In 1966, the folk music guitar boom had blended with the rock movement and a cherry sunburst J-45 was the one to have. This example was well loved and played; it faded down to the washed burst you see here. It is in mostly its original form with a replaced Tusq saddle (an improvement over rosewood), a changed truss rod cover, and a replacement G tuner (yes, those other Japanese tuners are factory original on many '66 and '67 Gibson J-45s!). One strum and you can tell why these guitars are coveted for recording.
Comes with hardshell case.
