This beautiful Gibson J-45 was made in 1954 and is in very good condition. The slope shouldered dreadnaught workhorse of the Gibson acoustic line, the J-45 is a great addition to any recording studio or live stage. This guitar has an excellent recent refret, done here at CVG, the bridge has been re-glued, and the tuners have been replaced with Kluson reissues. That's it for issues. The finish on the guitar is all original and has aged to a gorgeous patina. The guitar has a nice full "C" shaped neck and plays perfectly; nothing like a vintage guitar with new frets. The sound is as you would imagine a classic mahogany Gibson to have: balanced, warm and satisfying. The guitar is housed in its original chipboard case. Inside the case is the original Gibson hang tag with the guitar model stamped on the back.
