This 1952 Gibson J-45 in Sunburst has clearly been played hard and kept alive with care. It’s seen its share of repairs over the years—including a number of back crack repairs and various other structural and cosmetic touch-ups—but it holds together with solid integrity and plays well. The top has the kind of wear that only comes from decades of honest use, and the finish carries the warm patina of a guitar that’s earned its keep. Despite the history, it retains the dry, mid-forward punch and woody warmth these early J-45s are known for. A true survivor with plenty of character, tone, and life left in it. Comes with a HSC.
