Description

This beautiful Gibson J-185 comes from a true Gibson golden age with a striking original natural finish and beautiful appointments. The spruce and maple combo provide honking mids and a dry, resonant tone. This example is remarkably clean with only some light player wear, a few small finish dings, finish touch up around the heel and gorgeous checking to note. It's undergone a neck reset, bridge reglue, and has a replacement bridge plate among a handful of other repairs (check out our specs tab for a full repair list), but nothing overly invasive.. this guitar plays great and is sure to charm collectors and players alike.
