This 1968 Gibson ES-355 Custom reflects the top tier of Gibson’s thinline semi-hollow lineup from the late ’60s. It has been refretted and fitted with a replacement nut for continued playability, and the current pickguard is a later replacement, with the damaged original included in the case. The ebony fingerboard with block inlays, multi-ply binding, and split-diamond headstock inlay showcase the model’s upscale appointments. Comsetically, it remains in good condition for its age with checking and light play wear to note along with some notable finish melt on the guitar's heel. With its original construction preserved alongside these updates, it remains a strong example of Gibson’s craftsmanship from this era.
Includes vintage black hard shell case.
