This 2003 Gibson Custom Shop Allen Collins Korina Explorer is a tribute to the to Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist's '58 Korina Explorer with all the mods, scars, and repairs of the original. It’s fitted with a pair of '57 Classic humbuckers that deliver a full, balanced response with a strong midrange presence. The neck has a comfortable carve that pairs well with the longer body design, making it easy to handle despite its size. A focused Custom Shop take on the Allen Collins model, with a lively acoustic quality and a clear, punchy amplified voice.
