This 2022 Gibson Custom Shop 1942 Banner J-45 recreates the tone, feel, and look of Gibson's iconic pre-war model. Featuring a thermally aged spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, and hand-scalloped X-bracing, it delivers warm, resonant tones with vintage character. With period-correct details like hide-glue construction, a "Only a Gibson is Good Enough" banner headstock, and a VOS nitrocellulose finish, this guitar is a tribute to Gibson's storied history and timeless craftsmanship. Cosmetically, it's in excellent condition with only minor player wear.
