Description

1965 Gibson Barney Kessel Regular in Natural, sporting an older full refinish that was tastefully done and has since developed some great-looking wear. It has that played-in, vintage vibe while still presenting very well overall.

The bridge pickup appears to have been rewound at some point, but the tone is excellent and versatile—plenty of clarity and punch on tap, with the warmth and complexity you’d expect from a mid-’60s Gibson hollowbody. The neck has an amazing slim ’60s feel, fast and comfortable, making it a joy to play.

A very cool, characterful Barney Kessel for anyone after a classic Gibson jazz box with tons of vibe and a truly inspiring feel. Comes with the OHSC.
