Description

There are approximately 1400 original Les Paul "Burst"s in existence, and they regularly retail upwards of $300k. A logical response to supply and demand, Gibson makes faithful reproductions of these legendary solid body guitars of 1958,1959 and 1960. Each year represents different specs common to the majority of original examples. In the case of this guitar, a 1958 Reissue, the neck profile is a tad beefier and the maple top is a little less flamier than the 1959 and 1960. This model was a limited run for Eddie's guitars, and houses Custombucker Alnico III (Unpotted) PAF-style humbuckers and Gibson Historic Narrow Tall Frets. All in all, a killer playing, accessible, holy grail guitar.Comes with OHSC (Pink lined Lifton)
