The coveted '64 Stratocaster! Being an earlier example of the final year of Pre-CBS production, this guitar escaped the CBS transition specs, still having clay dots, smaller logo, and hand crafted feel. It has had a fresh re-fret and new nut and plays excellently. Its middle pickup was rewound, but the electronics are original to the guitar. The body is alder with an olympic white nitro refinish that has had time to yellow and check. The original tortoise pickguard, which was a custom order option, is paired nicely with the choice in finish. Examples that sound like this one are why Pre-CBS Strats have been long coveted in the vintage market.

Includes a '90s tweed Fender case.
