Fender Precision Bass 1978, Sunburst

This 1978 Fender Precision Bass in Sunburst has the kind of worn-in character and feel that make vintage Fenders so special. It has a great, broken-in feel with a solid, punchy tone and plenty of that familiar P-Bass growl. The original pickups have been replaced with BBI pickups, and the bass has been refretted, fret leveled, and set up for comfortable playability. It shows plenty of honest wear, with scattered cosmetic marks, finish worn away from playing along the bass-side waist, and heavy play wear on the neck. Beautiful finish checking has developed across the body, giving it even more vintage character. Worn but in good overall condition, this Precision Bass is in good playing shape and has clearly seen plenty of music. A soulful, well-played vintage Fender with a whole lot of personality.
