1964 Fender Jazz Bass in the Custom Color Lake Placid Blue with a matching headstock. This bass, except for an old refret, is all original.  The interesting thing about this one is you're getting two custom colors for the price of one.  Underneath the Lake Placid Blue (LPB) is another Custom Color, Daphne Blue.  Underneath both of those colors is the white primer.  All the paint work is factory original.  The solder joints and all the shielding plates are as they left the Fender factory in 1964.  Why is Daphne under the LPB? It's anybody's guess but the fact remains, the bass has a factory original finish on it.  The matching headstock really ties the room together on this killer bass.  It plays great and sounds like your dream Jazz Bass.  The bass comes with the original white tolex case.

A note from our repair department:  "There is finish touch up behind the nut. When the bass was refretted, the planing takes the finish off the top of the board, so it was touched up. You can see very slight drip marks up into the original tape line."
