In 1994, the Fender Custom Shop was only 7 years old; but the vision to create unique specs not previously seen on standard iterations was in full maturity. Here we have the Fender Telecaster Jr (limited to 150 examples). The name "Jr" seems to derive from its Gibson counterpart, but the dual P90s is rather a "Special" characteristic than Junior; which adds to its versatility. Also like a Gibson Special, the body and neck are mahogany, albeit with a neck-through design that allows for smooth upper fret access. This particular example is in great condition with only minor chips and scratches to its glossy lacquer (non-poly) finish. Sporting hot p-90s set in a lightweight chambered body, this model is the same favored by Jerry Finn of Blink-182 and Sum 41 mix/production notoriety.
Includes Original Hardshell Tweed Case without papers.
