The OM, or “Orchestra Model,” has evolved into one of the most versatile and beloved acoustic guitar designs ever created. Originally introduced over 80 years ago, it’s now a favorite among fingerstyle players for its balance, clarity, and responsiveness on steel strings—while flatpickers and lead players appreciate its comfortable feel and full access to all 20 frets, especially when paired with a graceful cutaway. With its compact body and relatively shallow depth, the Collings OM is equally at home onstage or on the couch, offering an immediate, well-balanced tone that responds effortlessly to a wide range of playing styles.

This OM2H takes that classic design to another level, featuring stunning koa back and sides complemented by ivoroid body binding and a butt wedge. Additional refined appointments include herringbone top purfling, a “zipper” backstrip, a detailed 2-style rosette, and elegant diamonds-and-squares fingerboard inlays, giving this guitar both visual sophistication and exceptional playability.

*When using Affirm, we charge an additional 3.5% fee on the total at checkout. The majority of our instruments are consignment, where CVG keeps a small percentage of each sale. To be able to cover the additional costs required to offer financing, we have to include a higher fee to the customer. The 3.5% fee will be included in and spread across your Affirm payments.
