Description

This 2010 Gibson Custom Shop 1955 Les Paul Reissue R5 Hot Mod was part of Gibson’s run celebrating 1955 as a “year of innovation.” The Hot Mod version features player-style upgrades including a sunburst finish, humbucker configuration, and an ABR-1 bridge—capturing the look of what a ’55 Les Paul might have become after years of player-driven modifications. One of the highlights of this run is the neck profile: a soft-shouldered carve with plenty of depth through the center, making it substantial yet very comfortable in the hand. This guitar is in excellent condition overall, showing only light playwear throughout. Comes with the original hard case.
