This 1977 Gibson Les Paul 25/50 Anniversary was presented to its namesake at the 1977 Les Paul Anniversary Party celebrating 50 years of his career and 25 years of his culture-altering collaboration with Gibson. It's the original prototype of the model with the #1 Serial and features Les Paul's signature on the back of the headstock. It's truly a remarkable piece with a gorgeous figured maple top and 5-piece flamed maple neck. The gold hardware (save for the chrome tuning buttons) really elevates the piece along with the split rectangle inlays. It features high impedance pickups with a coil split function for versatile tonal settings. A framed copy of a handwritten letter from Les Paul and a photo of him holding this guitar is included.

This guitar is presented in the shape in which Les Paul left it. We haven't polished it or changed the strings since he last played it. It's a truly fascinating one-of-one piece of Les Paul history and a standout collector's instrument.
Includes OHSC.
