Beautiful 1959 Gibson J-50 in its original Natural finish. The guitar shows lots of attractive, natural checking across the finish, giving it a rich vintage character, but the finish itself is intact and looks incredible in person. Overall it presents as a well-cared-for late-’50s Gibson with tons of visual vibe.
The tuner buttons and bridge have been replaced, and there are a few standard vintage repairs, but otherwise it remains very original. The neck is supremely comfortable and plays excellently, with a new nut paired to the original frets that still have plenty of life left. It’s structurally sound and delivers that classic late-’50s J-50 voice—woody, warm, and responsive, with great balance for both strumming and fingerstyle.
A strong example of a ’59 J-50 with killer original finish character, tasteful maintenance, and excellent playability. Comes with a HSC.
