This 1952 Gibson J-50 shows honest age with a natural refinish. The spruce top and mahogany body offer a dry, woody response with a clear fundamental and a warm, rounded edge. It has had the bridge plate reglued and a new saddle fitted, both practical updates that support stability and playability. The neck has a comfortable, broken-in feel with some light checking that reflects years of use. Overall, it remains a straightforward example from Gibson’s early postwar period.

Includes a modern Gibson HSC.
