Description

The Grey finish is one of the first things that sets this 2013 Government Series Explorer II apart. Gibson’s short-lived Government Series used surplus finishes in unusual colors, and the stark grey works especially well against the angular Explorer body. A mahogany construction and dual humbuckers keep the guitar rooted in familiar Gibson territory, but the finish and limited production give this particular model plenty of personality. It’s an uncommon modern Explorer with a look you don’t come across every day.
