Description

This Gibson Explorer has lived many lives, and comes to us in its current iteration recently refinished in a dark stain over its natural wood. The guitar began its journey finished in Alpine White (evidence of this in the neck pocket) and was refinished black before ending up in its current state. The bridge pickup was replaced with a Seymour Duncan Seymourizer II and the tone pot is a replacement. The tailpiece seems to be an aftermarket piece, as well as the strap buttons. Our in-house repair team recently refretted it and now it's ready to shred once again.
