Description

This beautiful Les Paul is the 2010 Gibson Custom Shop 'Commemorative '59 Les Paul'. The story behind the run is that after Les Pauls' passing, employees in the Gibson Custom Shop uncovered 30 holly headstock veneers signed by the pioneering legend during one of his factory visits. The company wanted to issue a Les Paul that paid tribute to its namesake, and thus 30 guitars were built that included the veneers inside of their Certificates of Authenticity. This model has a sunburst finish over a flame maple top, two Burstbucker pickups and the traditional '59 Les Paul neck profile. It's in excellent condition with little to no playwear. The original case and COA are included, and this Les Paul is #13 out of 30.
