Fender Stratocaster 1965, Sunburst

This 1965 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst is a genuine artifact from the final year of Fender's pre-CBS era, still speaking with its original voice: the grey-bottom pickups and 28th-week-of-'64 pots remain intact, delivering classic early-'60s Strat tone straight from the source. The double-line Klusons and C-profile neck round out a vintage-correct feel, and this particular example carries a documented history of period-typical work and modification: the body has been routed for humbuckers in the middle and bridge positions, the back plate is not included, there's overspray on the headstock face, treble waist rim, and arm-wear area, the nut has been  replaced and shimmed, it's had a refret, an extra string tree added, and the inlays show wear consistent with age and playing history. This is a real 1965 Strat with its original pickups, electronics, and Brazilian rosewood board still doing the work.
