Description

This 1963 Fender Stratocaster is a classic pre-CBS example in Sunburst, with the familiar alder body, maple neck, and Brazilian rosewood fingerboard of the period. Both the neck and bridge pickups have been rewound by Lindy Fralin, while the tremolo block has also been replaced and a couple of the saddle springs have been changed. Those updates leave the guitar with a few practical departures from its original configuration while retaining the character of an early-’60s Strat. It remains in very good condition and makes for a strong-playing example of one of Fender’s defining early models.
