This 1956 Fender Esquire is a standout example of Fender’s earliest solid-body design—an authentic piece from the brand’s stripped-down, no-frills era. It’s been refinished on the body with the neck lightly oversprayed, and it has also undergone a refret for improved playability. The original pickup has been rewound by Lindy Fralin, and a reproduction pickguard has been fitted. Closely related to the Telecaster that followed, the Esquire takes a more focused approach with its single-pickup layout, yet it delivers a voice that’s distinctly its own. This example plays with responsiveness, offering that unmistakable early Fender snap, bite, and “spank” that defined an era.

Comes with modern Fender hard shell case.
