Doc Watson owned the original prototype and stated that it was the dreadnaught he had been looking for his whole life. What makes this model so special, is it features advanced, scalloped X-bracing for powerful bass, complimented by the clear tone and definition of master grade mahogany. This example has been played hard in a live setting, it had a pickup at one time, but it has only brought out more vintage character. It has had a neck reset, bridge reglue, saddle replacement, and top cracks repaired.
Comes with Hardshell case.
