Built in early 1928, this National Style 1 Tricone is among the first 200 round-neck Nationals ever made. Known for its clean Art Deco design, it features a plain German silver body with geometric details and is prized by both collectors and players.
This example is in good condition with replaced cones and frets but is otherwise original, including the neck finish and body plating. It has had a professional neck reset and a slight tailpiece adjustment for improved string alignment. It has a big, powerful voice and plays exceptionally well, making it an outstanding vintage instrument for both collectors and musicians.
