The mid-90s DC-30 is the quintessential Matchless amp, built during the Mark Sampson era. Featuring a Vox-style design, the added Master volume control is a highly useful feature, allowing you to achieve great tone at more manageable volumes. Additionally, the push-pull feature lets you bypass the control entirely. This amp shows only minor signs of previous use and still looks fantastic. There aren’t many amps from the last 30 years that command as much respect as Matchless. It has truly earned its place alongside the titans of amplification, on par with vintage Fender, Marshall, and Vox amps in terms of performance and reliability.
It should be noted that the serial number sticker has fallen off, but the date has been confirmed through the transformers, speakers, and inside the chassis.
