This 1998 Martin D-28LF Lester Flatt Commemorative Edition, numbered 8 of just 50 produced, is a tribute to Lester Flatt’s iconic 1950 D-28. It has a double-bound D-style body with a solid spruce top paired with rich Brazilian rosewood back and sides. The ebony fretboard is adorned with a custom inlay design and complemented by an oversized tortoise pickguard. A rare collector’s piece, this guitar honors the legacy of a bluegrass pioneer with stunning craftsmanship and authentic detail. This Martin has a some play wear, top crack repaired with two cleats, back crack professionally restored, some overspray present, and the bridge has been reglued. Comes with OHC
