Owned by Jess Carson of Midland. From Jess:

This is the first aged acoustic guitar ever built by the Martin Custom Shop that wasn't a D-28 or D-18 and it remains the only aged D-42 in existence. Jess asked for an aged high-trim model and they took this D-42 on as an experiment. A true one-of-a-kind, historical piece that Jess played on the road in concert from 2022-2025. Has two small, stable top cracks below the bridge. This Martin plays beautifully and has opened up with a dry and balanced tone. Comes with certificate of authenticity.
