Description
91 Pre-War D-45s were made by Martin, this one survived. Arguably the greatest specifications, this pearl bound-brazilian rosewood with Adirondack spruce top dreadnaught is a cannon. While it has lived a full life with varying quality in repair technique, as a whole, each method served its purpose in keeping it playable and with as many factory components intact on the guitar as possible; please see repair history list provided. These guitars are heralded for not only their aesthetics, but their open sound. They were built with the finest choice in spruce and Brazilian rosewood available at the factory. The scalloped bracing and small maple bridge plate help the top move with each note hit. If you are looking for volume and articulation, this one for you. Everything else is character.
Comes in tan Calton Case.
