Description

This D-41 Custom is a truly unique one-of-one design from the late 70's. Combing elements of several different models, it manifested as a totally unique spec. It carries a nice balanced tone with plenty of coverage of the sonic spectrum. There is some top checking, a 5" repaired crack (using a cloth strip) along the treble side back strip, and a small B-string finish crack. Otherwise, it remains in good condition with mild wear for its age. It currently has a bit higher "bluegrass" action measuring 7/64" on the low E and 6/64" on the high E.
