The D-35 is a unique model from Martin that speaks to their ability to achieve the merging of classic designs with forward looking materials and construction. The back is a three piece constructed of Brazilian Rosewood and paired with fairly wide grained Spruce top. This guitar has sustained a list of repairs and modifications that tell a story of wear and tear over the last 50+ years. It still maintains a balanced and sweet tone that is very mellow for a dreadnought. Repairs/Modifications include: a neck reset with shims on heel, new bridge, binding reglued on neck, five back cracks, four are cleated. Replaced Bridge plate, two repaired side cracks, a repaired fingerboard crack, two repaired top cracks. The bottom of heel was grafted and refinished, heavy overspray on top and the serial number was scratched off the neck block. Overall the guitar is in visually and functionally good shape, but repairs are noticeable upon inspection.

Comes with a newer molded Martin hard case
