This 1962 Martin D-18 is a phenomenal acoustic guitar with minimal repair. Its tone is remarkably open and dry, with a snappy responsiveness and profound low end. Its playability is second to none as well. In this era at the Martin factory, larger braces were used, and as a result this guitar has not needed a neck reset, and its action could even potentially be raised if the next owner so chose. Cosmetically, it's in great shape for its age as well. There's some pick wear around the pickguard and small dings throughout, as well as 2 small back cracks on opposite sides of the lower bout, and 2 small B-string cracks. It remains one of the best sounding and playing acoustics in the shop!
Includes modern Martin hard shell case.
