Early into the transition from Brazilian to Indian Rosewood, this D-28 comes from 1970 and has aged very well. It has not shied away from repairs and stands in excellent playing condition due to the modifications. This is a notably good sounding D-28 that is immensely clear and has impressive headroom. A list of repairs includes: repaired bridgeplate holes, added pickguard(looks to have been a lefty at one time), replacement ebony bridge, refret, headstock corner dent, neck reset, replaced bone saddle, replaced bridge pins. These repairs and modifications leave this guitar in wonderful playing condition and set to impress the next owner. The Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood combine for an excellent sound with plenty of headroom and warmth.
Comes with the original hardshell case
