This 1968 Martin D-28 shows the character of a well-played vintage dreadnought alongside a history of careful repair work. The guitar has undergone a neck reset, refret with a leveled fingerboard, and a headstock crack repair, ensuring stability and playability. Additional work includes a bridge reglue, replacement bone saddle, and several crack repairs to both the top and back, all reinforced with cleats where needed. A replacement pickguard has also been fitted, with a maple cleat supporting a repaired crack at the treble side. For an in depth look at repairs, check out our specs tab. With these updates, the instrument stands as a solid representation of a late-’60s D-28 with stunning Brazilian Rosewood.
Includes vintage hard shell case.
