Description

The Martin D-28 has long been the flagship model through the golden ages. Its classic formula includes a spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and an ebony bridge. Even within this high-end territory, there are numerous specifications and variations to explore. This particular example features Brazilian rosewood back and sides with a stable straight grain, and a wide-grained spruce top. It's in excellent condition, having undergone essential repairs: a neck reset, neck overspray, replaced pickguard, finish wear on the back of the neck, shaved bridge, and a filled slot on the nut. Additionally, it boasts signatures from C.F. Martin IV and Mike Longworth inside the soundhole. This guitar is perfectly set up with ideal action and delivers the classic D-28 sound.
