Featured on the cover of iconic bluegrass picker Norman Blake's "Whiskey Before Breakfast," this D-18 has all the story and character you could want from a guitar. To start with the obvious, this guitar has been played a lot in its nearly 90 years, and has the wear and tear to prove it. But don't let its rugged appearance fool you, there's a heart of golden tone inside the D-18. Bright, full-bodied, and warm all in the same strum, with dialed-in perfect action. It's in great playable shape too, over on the specs tab you can see its full repair history (it's checked off the big ones like neck reset and refret). The neck is comfortable, with a nice thickness increasing as you move down the fretboard. Own a piece of bluegrass history with this renowned D-18. Includes vintage blue-lined HSC.
