When it comes to sound, this 1943 D-28 is simply as good as it gets! The guitar has remarkable projection with the tone that can only come from a a golden aged 28! The Brazilian Rosewood on the back and sides are to die for and the Adirondack spruce top is a beautiful tight grain. This 1943 is in great condition having had a neck reset, refret, replacement bridge and a light overspray. Most importantly, the maple bridge plate is original with only plug reinforcement to the ball end resting area. There is typical play wear throughout, but you can tell it had responsible ownership throughout its life. That in mind, it has the potential to live another full 80 years.

Comes in a modern Martin plastic case.
