When it comes to sound, this 1940 D-28 is simply as good as it gets! The guitar has remarkable projection with the tone that can only come from a prewar 28!  This 1940 is in great condition having had a neck reset and a re-fret, so it plays excellently with a slightly lower feel from the frets having been leveled at some point. It has also had just the high E and low E holes in the bridge plate slightly reamed to have bridge plate plugs installed, but the plugs were not actually installed, so there are just slight signs of reaming. There is normal play wear throughout with wear on the top around the pickguard that just adds to the mojo this guitar has. It's a joy to play! Includes a modern Guardian Hard Case.
