This D-28 from the Golden Age of Martin proves why these are so sought after. Its Brazilian rosewood back and sides give the guitar a wonderful, full range of sonics while keeping a strong and clear midrange voice which isn't always present on a D-28! The Adirondack spruce top was refinished long ago very thinly so it retains its wide open voice without any dampening and shows tasteful wear; evidence of its journey being played and loved for many years. It has had a neck reset and refret, giving it great playability and saddle to spare, driving the top with every strum. It has had its fair share of repairs - namely a previous headstock repair, some internal repairs, and crack repairs (a full list can be found in our specs section), but hearing this guitar, we understand why someone would want to keep it going no matter what!

Includes a period correct hard shell case
