This stunning George Gruhn Spec D-18 is an immediate classic through and through, but the biggest selling point—aside from the Adirondack spruce top and forward-shifted scalloped bracing—is the old-growth sinker mahogany, harvested in Belize between 1880 and 1920. Finding high quality tonewoods that rival those used on the Golden Era instruments is no small feat, so here's an opportunity to grab a modern guitar that sports mahogany that could have very well ended up on one of those pre-war gems!
This example is in excellent condition with no damage to note, just very faint signs of use. It is also upgraded with a K&K pickup so it is ready to hit the stage with its next owner.
Includes its original hard shell case.
