With a balanced tone across the spectrum, this particular mahogany dread hosts a number of modifications that brings it closer to 1930s specs than other 1960 examples: light scalloping of X-braces, ebony fretboard, ebony bridge, and waverly tuners. It is gig ready with a neck reset, fretwork, updated bone nut/saddle/pin combo, heel strap button, and K&K pickup. With several repaired rim and top crack repairs from a life of play, this warm and dry sounding D-18 has all the lacquer checking to aesthetically compliment it.
