It's tough to beat a classic like a Martin 000-18 12 fret long scale, especially one that combines pre-war build specs with modern techniques and the Custom Shop tonewood selection and careful attention to detail. The use of sinker mahogany isn't just eco-friendly, either. The reclaimed wood has some of the same tonal properties of old-growth trees used on the beloved guitars of the past. Compared to newer mahogany, the tone is a little richer and more nuanced, and when paired with VTS treated Adirondack spruce, focused and balanced across the strings.
This 2022 model is in excellent condition.
