When you want OM focus and clarity but need a little extra growl in the bass, grab a 0000! These sinker mahogany guitars made to George Gruhn's specs are in high demand in every model. In addition to the old-growth sinker mahogany used for the back, sides and neck (harvested in Belize between 1880 and 1920), this guitar has an Adirondack spruce top, forward-shifted scalloped bracing, and effortless Performing Artist neck profile with smooth satin finish. This 2022 sunburst 0000 already has the feel and voice of a well-played in instrument—full and warm, with that nuance we often note from sinker mahogany guitars. Overall condition is excellent, and it comes with its original hardshell case.

Finding high quality tonewoods that rival those used on the Golden Era instruments is no small feat, so here's an opportunity to grab a modern guitar that sports mahogany that could have very well ended up on one of those pre-war gems! *When using Affirm, we charge an additional 3.5% fee on the total at checkout. The majority of our instruments are consignment, where CVG keeps a small percentage of each sale. To be able to cover the additional costs required to offer financing, we have to include a higher fee to the customer. The 3.5% fee will be included in and spread across your Affirm payments.
