This Martin 000-28 is a beautiful vintage piece with original Brazilian Rosewood back and sides.  Although this guitar has undergone significant modifications, it still has the unmistakeable tone of a vintage Martin 000-28... think Jason Isbell solo songs: nice and dry with a mid-punch and plenty of low end. The most substantial change was that it was re-topped with a torrified Adirondack top. Another substantial change, that is mostly cosmetic is the replacement headstock, that seemingly has the logo from the original veneer used. For a full laundry list of repairs, check out the Modficaitons/Repair tab in our Specs column. All repairs considered, this is a great war-time Martin with amazing tone and in stable, steady condition!
Includes modern Martin hard shell case.
